Who can submit a nomination?

Publishers, authors and illustrators of eligible Australian children’s books may submit a nomination.

Can I nominate more than one book?

Yes. You may submit multiple nominations. A separate form must be completed for each book.

Is my book eligible for nomination?

Please refer to the eligibility criteria.

Can a book be nominated in more than one category?

Each book can be nominated in only one category.

Is there a nomination fee?

A fee of $15 applies to each nominated book or series.

What payment methods are accepted?

Payment must be made by credit card at the time of submitting your nomination.

Will I receive confirmation that my nomination has been submitted?

Yes. You will receive an email confirmation once your nomination has been successfully submitted and payment has been processed.

Do I need to send physical copies of the book or series?

Yes. Hard copies are required for judging.

If you are nominating a single book:

  • Please send 2 copies with your nomination.
  • If your book is shortlisted, you will be asked to provide 8 additional copies for judging purposes.

How do I access my invoices?

  1. Go to www.speechpathologyaustralia.org.au  
  2. Select ‘Log in’ in the top right-hand corner of the website. 
  3. Enter your username and password. 
  4. Once logged in, click on your name in the top right-hand corner. 
  5. You will be taken to your profile page. 
  6. Select the ‘My invoices’ tab to view and download your invoices.
